Application was easy - I just pulled off a wad, rolled it between my hands to make a 1/4-1/2" diameter rod and then pressed it into the gap and smoothed with my fingers until it filled the gaps. It's almost fun to press into place and does not seem to shrink as it dries hard.

This is such an interesting product. I first used it under my bathroom sink and I liked how it worked so much that I went around my house looking for anything else I could seal. I sealed window sills, the ductwork around my exhaust fan in my kitchen, a door jam and even nail holes in the walls. This works great. I love that it comes in individual packets. I do wish I knew what it was made of, but I know it works well.
